Demonoid Torrent Site shut down by the police

Demonoid, one of the biggest torrent sites, was taken down on July 25 by a massive Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack. Ukrainian officials then made sure the servers remained inaccessible, apparently to show the U.S. it is taking intellectual property rights seriously.

it was one of my fav Site for downloading music and Movies ,etc. the best Torrent site i have even seen .

Merlin's Portal a few months ago (although that imploded due to a clash of egos amongst the admins), and now this!

This is a tragedy. It was hard to become a member but once you were on, it had everything. And I've been a member there for years. The only bit-torrent site I used.

Hope it's only temporary and they re-establish somewhere else!
