Chipping Phones

Anyone know where I can find info on chipping cell phones. I see ads online w/folks selling Sidekicks & Nextels w/chips for free service.

I'd like to know how that stuff works (e.g. where to get chips, how to program, etc).

I don't think the cell phone chips can do a whole lot. I know that they can't get you unlimited minutes.

i think he means clone a cell phone
you use someone elses id and it bills all your usage to that person and not you
you program a sim card or something like that

Arrrrrrrr totally not cool. I've had me phone cloned once and it took me a year ta convince Verizon that I was NOT the one calling somebody in Iceland! Anybody that chips or clones cell phones should be fed to the sharks, one limb at a time! Starting with 'is tally whacker!!!!

At one point the Nokia 5125 phone with Tracphone service could be hacked to get unlimited minutes, but I don't think it works anymore.

I thought they had to have your phone to get your SIM card... ?
