Quite a fascinating read about post disaster Chernobyl from the unique personal perspective of a girl who likes riding her high powered motorbike through the dead zone because there's no traffic lights.

Spooky - you kind of forget that this even happened and yet there is such a large area that is classified as a dead zone where a whole city exists but is deserted...

very interesting - would be so strange riding through deserted cities like that...

considering that the size would have been bigger than or similar to Adelaide (the city I live in)... imagine walking through a city and being the only one there... full access to entering any building you want just to have a look... only noise being that of the weather a few stray animals and your own heart beat...

Really interesting I must say. The kindergarden pictures are really eerie. And all those family pictures left there... All those peoples life lying on the floor of some desafected area.

I think the silence would be the worst part. I'm too used to being in a noisy city even when its quiet. But this would be full silence and it would be freaky..
