I was really really excited to try that game. I'm searching desesperatly for a game that will let me use my damn Network Adaptor for something else than homebrew application. So I was really eager to try it and play online with my friends. I rented it and all I have to say is the game is alot of fun except for the fact that the thing is buggier than let say, Windows 95. But what the **** were they smoking when they did the online portion of the game?? For the love of god, the online mode is SO half-assed it's not even funny. Absolutly no lobby or communication before joining a game. I can live with that little annoyance. But you can't join an already started game?? WTF? And you are teleported back to town every time one of the players use a Gate Scroll, no matter what you were doing or fighting. You have to listen to NPC character talking everytime someone talk to one of them and every player in the game have to wait for the FMV to end. Now that completly ruin the whole experience... And there is absolutly no way of dropping gold and you can't trade items with other players unless you trust them and drop them on the ground. And if you ever use your single player character on the net and save to keep the new stats and item you've gained while on the net, you will have a surprise after loading your single player game. You would expect to be where you were at last save but no, you are now where you were on the net. That's plain stupid, they should have made 2 files on the memory card, one for your characters and one for your saved game... I was planning on buying it at the store isnted of a copy, but now I'm not so sure anymore. Have any of you guys tried it or bought it? What do you think of the online mode? Am I the only one really dissapointed?
