  1. #1 Question CD locking software ??
    lovables Guest
    Hi Allz

Is there any cd locking proggy with which u can lock the cd after burning it so that it can't be copied anymore ?

The thing is - Wanna burn my original dvd movies in 2 VCDs to give it to my friends to watch in their vcd players.

But I don't want them to just get the movies from me and copy it in their PC or make duplicates.

If anyone knows anything about this, kindly let me know.

    thankz

Actually I want to stop my friends from piracy. I got genuine dvd movies and just want to copy it to vcd ( and yup its means piracy, but in good faith as I am not distributing them in public).

My question was: Can I lock my vcds so my friend or anyone they might give it to, can't copy or save the movies.

Don't get me wrong here. I don't use any pirated stuff and discourage piracy myself. Its just what everyone is doing these days - dvd to vcd - so I wanna try it.

    Kindly reply to me.

    regards,

There is no way to "lock" it. You could implement some type of protection, but it could be cracked.
ALLERGY ALERT: The above post may be nuts.

There are a few different types of protections available, but there's nothing stopping them from using Alcohol 120% and making an image file.
