I had an Idea. Ok this isnt to acheive HDTV signal nor Progresive scan even, but it will give alot cleaner of a signal as the Luma and chroma signals intact and seperate.

So how a normal device such as a satellite receiver works is it has the unbroken signals, and then combines them then hooks them up through RCA Composite outputs. Now if we found the point of where the signal is before it reaches the combination point we could tap in and build on Component outputs from there.

It wouldnt do much special, but the signal would not be degraded by the convertion and deconvertion by composite out and in. ANyone got n e input on how to start?
