Is black ops work on 3.41 jailbroken ??

hi evryone i wanna ask is cod black ops work on 3.41 jailbroken?????????? plzzz answer as soon as possible thxxxalot

yes, black ops works fine on 3.41, you need to download the modified eboot.bin and edit the param.sfo to 3.400

But...why are you still on 3.41? Almost every jailbreaker has updated their ps3 to 3.55 cfw of either kmeaw,waninkoko,geohot etc etc. If you want to play games with all this eboot and param.sfo hassle you better update your ps3 to either the waninkoko or kmeaw 3.55 cfw.

3.41 is more stable and there is no risc to brick your ps3.Most part of russian community still use 3.41..

I totally agree!! 3.41 is much much more safer as it does not inter fear with thenps3 system files! Cfw might get yournsystem banned in anytime once Sony gets a grip! However I downloaded a file "ps3_Game" and replaced with my black ops but when I upgraded black ops to 1.06 I get a black screen plzzzzzzz help!!!!

that is absolutely WRONG THINKING, you people brick your consoles because you dont read the instructions and you RUSH things. Get that into your brain. Waninkoko did brick your console but that was for people who RUSHED. I didnt, i saw some people say it worked but i still waited a week to see what others had to say, and because of that now i have 3.55 cfw and my ps3 is never better! 3.55 is much better as games work better on it without any hassle. And also get it into your head that you cannot, i repeat YOU CANNOT be banned from PSN unless YOU SIGN INTO PSN. If you have 3.41 cfw or 3.55 cfw and log into PSN you will get BANNED sooner or later. I have kmeaw 3.55 cfw and play black ops online and i have no black screen problems or anything. I still suggest you to update your console to 3.55 KMEAW cfw for a better jailbreaking experience, remember get KMEAW...you can try others but i rather stick with what the public uses. Kmeaw cfw is SAFE and has no possibility of bricking. PLease read the instructions and dont rush things. Now the choice is yours.

People, I was on 3.41 for a LOOONG time and believe me, I also had that fear but after so many people gave their positive feedback and 3.55 was confirmed stable, I went ahead and downloaded a pre-patched 3.55 firmware. After updating to ofw and then using the pre-patched firmware, within minutes I was on 3.55 kmeaw. You all should really update.

Why change something that works good already.

There's nothing wrong in waiting on 3.41 avr dongle method for a few months for the perfect cfw to come out.

Besides, I see no points to change to a cfw 3.55 right now... I haven't seen any games that work on 3.55 cfw that don't work on 3.41.

Now in 6 months, it could totally be another story...

Well I guess you're right since I mostly did it for the hassle free unplugging-power-eject method. But to be honest, I was tired of waiting up on new games with eboot fixes which I was fine waiting for at first but then the fixes died down and they took longer and longer to come out. Test Drive, for example. Not to mention recent PSN game rips are 3.55 only. Anyway, to each his own I guess.

Lol on 3.41 I have access to PSN just like u dear and btw If u ever wanted to remove ur cfw what will u do huh??? u must first downgrade to any fw below 3.55 then re-update and to dowgrade u will need a ps3 downgrader since the ps3 JIG no longer works And just to give u a brief dispaly on whats happening-

3.41:
-Psn access (thanx 2 Drizz)
-Runs all Backups
-Once dongle is removed your safe!!! and no chance of ban
-NO interfearing with system files (its just similar to modchip in ps2) so if we just feel like updating to 3.56 were Unthreatened

3.55 Kemaw:
-Psn Access (thanx 2 Drizz)
-Runs all backups
-NOTHING else

For your information, you can install the ofw 3.55 directly on top of the cfw 3.55 without the need to downgrade. You just need to use the recovery mode which is explained directly on sony's official website. In fact, I strongly advice not to downgrade.

In fact, if you have done the ****PSN bypass trick by drizzt. You had to replace the CA27.cer file from the flash on your PS3. I personally would remove the modified CA27.cer file and put the original back before updating to 3.56.

If Sony releases new features that some games require in the future. You won't be able to play them on the ofw 3.41 with dongle, using the new features. Cfws can be updated to support them in the future.
