Best way to accept credit card payment?????

Hi. I need to know an easy way to accept credit card payment online that doesn't cost a fee like paypal and that someone can just put in their credit card info on the site to pay. Can someone tell me where one of these companies is?? I want it to be so you don't have to be a member, like paypal. That you can just use your credit card for each purchase. Because my freind needs to send me some money for a computer i built for him. HELP!!

practically every credit card service is going to require some sort of fee and a whole lotta personal info.
your friend is better off sending you a money order from the post office.

you can do it with verisign.

all are going to take some kind of cut though.

Paypal charges 2.9% per transaction plus 30 cents. How much do others charge? It's alright to have to enter personal info, he just doesn't want to have to be a "member" like with paypal.

Why is he against paypal? It's actually a very good service. The fees are only 1.5% because you get 1.5% back if you use the PP debit card as a MasterCard for your purchases. Works out great.

Paypal is the way to go. Just charge the buyer a little more to cover the fees.

Ok. But, precision....it doesn't equal out to 1.5%. you only get 1.5% cashback on purchases. and you get CHARGED 2.9% for recieving payments of ANY kind though paypal premier...which sucks...

It might suck but I guarantee that you'll have a hard time finding any CC processing center willing to only charge you 2.9% unless you are doing and insane amount of $$ per month.

PayPal is the best. Most places charge the same or more. so he will just have to suck it up.

Paypal my friend.. i did a site once and the person used this one merchant and they didnt charge per transaction, but charged a shit load just to use the service.. paypal is the best way to go.. its simple to use and u dont need to add extra stuff to ur website to get it going just the code paypal gives u. if u need a site design i would gladly hook u up, im boared anyway..
