best vid card for 80-100$?

my dad is building a new comp and i am not much help. i was thinking about an asus geforce 4 ti 5200 for 88 bux at new egg. but if any of you have a better idea please tell me. i want to be able to play all the games of today on it, like unreal 2, postal 2, doom 3, and so on with playable framerates. this comp will hav 512mb ddr ram (bought for 11 dollars today at microcenter :-D) and it will hav an athlon xp 2200 proc (i want to overclock, but again dont kno much about) 300 watt powersupply, i still need acase, but im going to the dump tommara so i'll pickup a temporary crap case tell i hav more money. a cheap mobo (37 dollars) that 3 out of 4 stars on newegg. i forgot the name of the mobo and cant find it anywhere here, i will post it if anyone needs to know it. and it'll hav a couple o cheap hardrives (using ma old 15 gig and 8 gig, temporarily). and borrowing a HSF from a friend, may keep. can this comp play any of those new high end games? i dont expect it to play any games in half a year, but today's games would be great. i already ordered the stuff on newegg and it should come on mon or tues, but my friend (actually he ordered it i dont hav a credit card or account) he got an email this morning that he didnt get to read fully, and told me in very sketchy details that their might of been a problem with the order, a "glitch". hopefully everything went well (free shipping, even on a case! (my friend is building a comp also and bought some nice stuff)) everyone's imput is much appreciated.

how does that compare to the asus geforce 4 ti 5200 128mb? i was thinking of buying that when i get 80 bux, but this might be a better card ( i hope cuz its 20 bux cheaper... my dad will be drivin arround today and if it is a good deal i'll make sure he gets it!)

The Radeon 9600 is faster than all Nvidia cards currently on the market, and it's an 8x agp card.

Seriously...It's been MONTHS. Like I said before I could get the game for like 10 bucks or something, BUT that isn't the point...THE POINT is you owe the damn thing to me, shipping is like a buck, and I shouldn't have to get it myself!!!!
