best HARDCORE punk band?

i agree man, punk has turned into shit, the emo kiddies are taking over, wit there syntherziers *cough*Offspring*cough* but ya, that stuff is the best, im into the local scene where i live, i have some friends in the under ground, goning to a underground show on July 5th. So **** todays, punk! or should i say, whiney losers in love!

saw motion city soundtrack live...and they ROCKED...their synthesizer player does handstands on his stand...cd is quite a bit more poppy than they are live.....but other than them synthesizers' suck

anything, with synthesizers, is not considered hardcore, and considered more like emo or pop punk, personally i cant stand it, but to each his own, if u realy wanna see the underground you have to get into it in your city, im going to a underground show on July 5th

ya i saw thrice in toronto, not bad, i liked the get up kids better
im not into punk that much, but if i had to say what i thought the best punk band was, i would say Anti-Flag
not because of their music, but because of their statement
whats why i liked the rock agents bush album.....and it was only 9 bucks!

anti-flag is the best, they have a great msg in their lryics and i respect them same wit Bad Religion, which is why i hate emo/pop punk its useless music!

Arrrrrrr, today's Punk is NOT Punk...it's a wussified version of the TRUE punk scene, so it is...you want HardCore...Get some Sex Pistols, Black Flag, Misfits, or Iggy Pop. Now those be some all time Hard Core Punks, so they are.

You want some real punk, you gotta go back 20 years or so. See if you can get your hands on some Agent Orange and Dead Milkmen. If you find some Misfits and Sex Pistols, you should find the other two as well.
