Guitar Hero is multiplayer, you could try Medal Of honor, that's the only thing I can think of at the moment, but going online would be a hassle with the PS2. Just to let you know.

Don't forget the Ratchet and Clank games! Those were great. And they had fun multiplayer I believe, well at least I know Ratchet: Deadlocked
did.

My favorite PS2 game ever was Resident Evil 4, it was frigin amazing for being a PS2 game, the graphics and everything about the game were pretty much nailed. As for multi player non network games, I like Contra Shattered soldier. It is an arcade style game where you are both on the same screen, which is rare for PS2 games usually it is split screen. I also enjoyed the Metal Slug's 4 and 5, which are also arcade style. Another great game was Lord of the Rings The Two Towers, great weapons selections and combos. As for online, try Star Wars Battlefront 2, Call Of Duty 3, Socom 3, Colin McCrae 05, or Sniper Elite, just to name a few. There are shit loads lol. Most online games are not supported anymore, but there are still some servers out there supporting PS2.
