the size limitation kills that here. xia set it low for a reason. Also, I can't seem to change it either![]()
Thanks for your comment but could you please explain. How it can be that there is a size limitation. I just don't want anyone buging me if I get an avatar from a movie.
copyright laws permit people to make 30 second clips (or smaller) without penalization. I know this is true for music under ASCAP. Should hold true to video as well.
as for avatar size limit, check the user control panel.
edit - 100x100 pixels max or 19.5KB. whichever is smaller.
Great thanks for your effort. I guess the 30 seconds is important for those that sells for instance mp3:s for sample use.

Don't know how valid the source is but if it's telling the truth about what you said then it should be valid for this and I quote:
"up to 10% or three minutes, whichever is less, of a copyrighted motion media work (for example, an animation, video or film image)"
