ok so i need to get 50/50 carb,
will creatine just put fat on me that i need to then convert to muscle?
Also i need an honest answer...what are the effects of alcohol on weight training...Like not drunk while lifting but say i drink once a week...( i drink more but plan on dropping to once a week or 1 every two weeks) and im drunk that night, what are the effects on my muscles...I know it will effect my kidney and that will effect how i procces things...but nothign along those lines can be fixed in 3 months/...
Creatine wont make you fat but it can bloat you - as you absorb and retain more water - also makes your short burst muscle strength greater so you can lift heavier or 1 to 2 more reps which helps gain muscle...
As soon as you stop taking it you tend to loose the bloat.
Creatine is found naturally in your body - the powder just ups the amount...
Drinking - especially beer will make you fat - high sugar content in alcohol... also dehydrates you and you need your fluids when training - can also reduce your sleep... but so can going out clubing with no alcohol just chasing the opposite sex!
May also reduce your bodies ability to process the increased levels of vitamins and proteins you intake when training...
yeah... like my protein/carb would be a waist if i was drinking every night...and yeah i cut liquor out of my life about a week ago so its just beer
BTW: bloating sounds bad...dont really want to do that...water weight is pointless

well i dont look like that, but man i am getting bigger. lost a few pounds last night drinking...im 139 nakey now....so happy
You look like you have dropped about 8% body fat! well done!
You arms look about 15.5" now though (although at 6'3" maybe that is just an optical illusion) - but that is more realistic with the lower fat...
Hard to tell though - your new shot uses slightly more open arms and as such you appear to have more of a neck as well!
I did my neck in for about 5 weeks so lost a 4kg of muscle (9 pounds) but my arms after a work out are now between 16.25 and 16.5"
I think you need to work more tries, more lat pull downs and seated rows. Potentially some upright rows / shrugs as well.
Must be nice for you to have dropped the handles! I am still working on mine! got my weight back down to 200lbs - what do you weigh now?
im about 205lb right now, taking creatine though so im probably holding in some water weight. My triceps need work the most i think.. im cutting so its not like i can gain muscle at the moment.. when i get down to about 10% bodyfat i will start eating like a horse. My traps are one of my stronger muscles, i work them twice a week and can lift about 350lb 3-5 times with barbell shrugs.
If anyone every was curious - here is a little calculator I knocked up to help you safely work out your 1 rep max - without actually attempting it.
The calculator is applicable for bench mostly but can be used for squats and deadlifts as well.
Typically it is the most accurate when you use a weight that you can press between 5 and 10 times.
If you enter a weight say you can press 18 times it will give you a really over the top answer. Like I can press 154 pounds 18 times but could not in my dreams press 292 pounds once - not yet anyway.
