I just wanted to ask PP or anyone that can give me some good paintballs around $45-50. Mostly wanted to know what paintballs are good and what's not, I used Marballizer Paintballs but ppgear charge around $60 for a 2000 case now.

Also wanted toknow how have ya been playing BB and what's ya like, speedball, rec etc and is anyone going to D-DAY in Oklahoma or anything like that?.......

I've played paintball a few times with friends and I gotta say it's an awesome sport/activity. Here in Aus a friend belongs to a professional team which have war games against military dudes...

But geez it's painful when you get hit with those damn paintballs!

it's been a while since I've played. almost nothing since the county closed my field and shop down.

I like the PMI line of paint. they make many levels from rec to tourny grade. Marbalizer is more of a tourny grade paint so if you're just going to play some rec ball I'd suggest going with a cheaper paint while still staying whithin the PMI brand.

I prefer to play rec ball. its more relaxed yet can still be very intense. I dont like speedball much becuase I like to use camo and sneaky tacticks as much as possible. speedball is more of a shoot as much as you can and hope to hit someone type of play. I havn't played any scenario games yet but I would honestly love to try it.

I also like to REF games as much as I like to play them

That's interesting... What sort of qualities make a good PP ref?

Also on your tactics vs shoot anything that moves comment, I agree with you. It is definitely a tense experience playing smaller stealth games rather than big groups just firing at each other...

It's been a while since I played, I'm gonna give the boys a call tonight and organise one for the weekend! You guys hyped me up! hehe

Yea, I was thinking of staying with PMI because I do like there paint alot. How is Ref I never ref before but I want too, Do they teach you how to ref or you just go by what you see and stuff? I will be playing scenario and speedball together very soon, PP know I like speedball and nothing beats speedball with that rush you get trying to bunker someone Are you and your moms bf still going to open a field or you guys ain't going to anytime soon? Oh yeah Congratulations that you have one extra special person in you and your gf life....

we're not opening another field, at least not in this county. right now we own and run a video game store.

I never reffed any games at a profesional level (no tournaments or anything) I only reffed at my own field and mostly only rec games. some of the biggest thing I think you'd need to be a ref are an ability to be un-biased toward any players (except maybe a little toward newbies). knowledge of the game and rules (gotta know how to do a paint check and stuff) and you can't be afraid to jump in front of someone and take the hits if they're getting over shot or something. Personally I think the most important thing to keep in mind is everyones safety above everything else.
