alternative/grunge band ever to grace this earth.

metallica, cant compare cuz they are in a diff genre, and anyway, NIRVANA is better

Nirvana was good for what they accomplished. But Cobain was pissed at his "Overnight stardom" because his breakthrough song was about "Bullshit" I recently met Dave Grohl and I would have to say that he is one of the niceest, most down to earth guys. He is also very humble about his music. (Doesnt have a big head about his stardom) and that is very admirable.

Metallica now SUCKS ASS. Metallica back in the days was te best. But I do have to say Nirvana was one of the better bands.
