    ...
    Lets try this.
    What release did you try?
    What is your boot method?
What type of media do you use?

I used an anaconda release at maxconsole. It was one which contianed a .gci file.

The boot method I use is the Samson loader aka memory card exploit. I used ctr-gcs to load the .gci file into the memory card and action replay with the code to start the samson boot menu. I open and close the lid so action replay will load action replay again. Upon the boot, I choose the anaconda. A black screen wtih text appears and I wait for the disk to stop spinning. When it stops, I hit the eject button and put in the burned game.

I have attached the loader I have copied into my memory card and I know it works.

Im using Office Depot DVDr burned at 2x. My gamecube is a Dol-001 USA no mods as I dont have a gamebit. I have not altered the lid sensor.

Dont accuse me of trying to cause misinformation. Read a few posts at maxconsole and see how much of a lie this is. I simply want to spread what I have read and tried to confirm as I dont like that viper chip.
I also want you to note the spread between my two previous posts, the one about what I read and the other one about it working, I went to buy some mini-dvdrs to try it myself. I loaded Starfox from my cube onto my hard drive and burnt it onto a dvdr.

I have attached the gci save file I used for this booting. Try it.

    Edit.
I think I figured it out. Its all about timing. I managed to screw up the boot several times. I think what it is is simply give it a bit more time..

Depending on what file you have, if its the gcos 1.4 and its the .DOL file, you can use the Psoload to send it into your gamecube the way you usually send apps in. Then you can use the loader.

What happened to maxconsole?? Gcos is the way to go! Get a ritek mini dvd-r 10 pack from the egg. I used my bba/pso first and tried a game ripper with a red screen that counts up the data addresses as it works. But alas, at that time I had no riteks so I don't know if that one works. I put gcos on a 59 block memory card with pso/psul? I think. Now I just boot my action replay disk, hit start game, open then close the lid, it then loads gcos from the 59 in slot b. Swap disks with a burned ritek and its good to go! 8 seconds is plenty of time, ask any bull rider!
