Now that is a nice setup. I still have a poor boy PC, but looking to upgrade soon -
Pentium D 3.0 Ghz OC'd to 3.6
4GB Ram
ATI Radeon HD 4670 HIS IceQ edition
Simple, but gets the job done for most of the games I play.
Personally, I would wait till specs for BF3 show up before I would upgrade if I were you.

i cant
homefront is coming out next week, and the pc version is being handled by a different developing house, well being ported that iss, and ive heard they aint holding back either lol, the more i think about fps games, them more i want to play them on my pc, they just look way better than console, perfect example was metro 2033, outdoors textures where horrid on consoles.
man oh man, i just cant stop drooling and crying
have to talk to my wife now about this, tho i think i know the answer before i ask
AMD Claims 'Fastest Graphics Card in the World'
p.s. i am going to set up a donations account so you guys can essentially buy it for methats a great idea lol
I tend to disagree [even though this is OT to the question].
Have you seen the leaked vids. of Crysis 2 running on a PC...it kicks ass of even the latest card released by NVIDIA, running at somewhere around 42FPS in Hardcore Settings. I would recommend an SLI/Crossfire to run Crysis:
btw, video link.
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhKyTQP7Gmk]YouTube - Crysis 2 Leaked Beta - First 25 minutes - Max Settings[/ame]
Expecting both games to be uber awesome, cant wait to see the PC vs. Consoles comparisons.

well yeah ive seen it and p...lol not allowed
but it doesnt look nearly as good as crysis 1 at all, look good, but not like the first one.
trust me, i ts not a problem for some one with say, a 5870ish card to run it![]()
Well just got my 2nd 5870 todaynow am ready lol
those suckers are hugh tho, i have room, but man, after i install this one, its going to take all the room that was left
i hope it runs cool, otherwise ill have to buy another case![]()
so far so good, install was a snap, playing homefront max out, looks way better than the ps3 version, omg does it ever
sadly tho, i think this game is going to rape my setup
Battlefield 3
BF3 should be able to run on that hardware alex. But we won't fully know till release. Also about Crysis 2 the demo, and the leak were old builds and don't have the full feature set. From what I have seen Crysis 2 is gonna push every single system it's put on.
Here's my system specs and atm I can run Crysis 2 MP demo and leak at about 45-60FPS.
Processor : AMD Phenom II x2 555 Callisto @3.2GHZ (unlocked to triple core, 3.8GHZ up from 3.2GHZ per core)
Motherboard : ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO
Ram : G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB DDR3 1600MHZ (factory OC 9-9-9-24 IIRC) with 1.5V
Heatsink : Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
GFX Card : EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 460 SE 1GB OC'd @Core clock : 830 / Shaderclock : 1660 / Memory clock : 1800
power supply : BFG Limited Edition 800W(BFGR800WPSULE)
That GPU cost me $163 including shipping and came with 2 games(mafia 2, and Just Cause 2.) I can still push this GPU further as it's stable at 45C in game.
If you do decide to upgrade, go for another GPU. It will give you more performance then the hexacore right out of the gate. I plan to upgrade to a hexacore in the next year or so. I also plan on upgrading to either 8 or 16 GB of ram(my machine can go upto 32GB.) I can always throw this GPU out and go for a Crossfire with ATI but I prefer Nvidia. My CPU can also go upto about 4.2GHZ on air. I couldn't get the 4th core unlocked but it's no biggy. This CPU is basically yours locked down to a Dual.
Damn I need to get an SSD. Or two raptor's in Raid 0.
EDIT: Also you can't compare a demo, and a leaked beta to Crysis 1. Crysis 1 and warhead look so good because of custom configs. Which according to the leak will be possible with Crysis 2. So I guarantee between texture mods, and custom configs + DX11 support your rig will be crying trust me. I know mine will. I have the leak and it includes sandbox 3, very high settings(disabled but they are in the files.), and custom config support.
Final EDIT: Also DX11 is supported in Cryengine 3 so they will definitely have it in the game either on launch or post launch. The Crysis franchise is basically a benchmarking game, so there's no way in hell they would leave features out that are in the engine.
So don't count Crysis 2 out yet.
But when Crysis 2 launches give me a shout on Steam or ingame if you don't use steam for it - xPreatorianx or Preat.

all this talk is getting me pumped woohoo.
