Okay, I have been seeing alot of games with 3D and to be honest, I think its a bit early to be doing it…not only that, unless you know exactly which files to extract out of games, then it can be tedious work to remove files that are not needed. Look at KillZone 3….it's 44GB with full 3D, non 3D is 22GB and even then its got a few languages left on it that can add up. I don't know how much space languages take up, but if a game can go from 44GB to 22GB with the removal of 3D & a few language tracks, thats a bit much! You still have the main story line, u still have the whole game…just no 3D! Personally, I think they should release a separate version for 3D….
So, who has a 3D TV? Who is holding out for lower prices? Who has no desire to even play games in 3D?
I know Sony is trying to think of the future and the latest technology but I really do think they should focus more on the game play aspects rather than "special features"…..I don't care if the game has 3D, extra costumes, soundtrack, making of, behind the scenes, etc….if the game sucks, then all that crap is gone to waste! Make the special features a 2nd disk or only in special editions! Anyway, this thread got out
