Stupid STUPID $Ony

Ok, so the latest with me.
First they banned my PS3, then the next day I get an email saying the PS3 is banned. No warning email, just a straight up ban. (That was last week)

Now, 2 days ago I get on my PSP GO and try to get on the PSN. "Your account cannot access the Playstation Network" WTF?
So I call up $ony. "oh, your account is banned/suspended"

So what they are telling me, as I have about 600 items in my PSN download list I cant access them.
And as the PSP GO is download only I can no longer put any games on my console.
In other words, if you want to play any new games you now have no choice but to put on a custom firmware and download the pirated copies as we no longer want you to run originals.

I thought $ony were against piracy but I now have no choice. They forced me to get pirated games.

Or, you know, you could have been smarter and not used the same account you have on your PSP GO to get online with CFW on your PS3.

Call them back, speak to a manager, ask for a refund. If you get refused, contact a solicitor/lawyer and seek legal advice.

Banning you from using your paid content is unlawful as far as I know. You should be able to get the account ban lifted or a re-reimbursement, but not the console ban lifted as they are well within rights to refuse access through your modded console.

Thats what I thought. I paid for it so i should have access to it.
They can ban the console (PS3) thats fine but what happens IF I buy a 2nd PS3, how can I get all my stuff onto that one?
And the PSP GO, as I said its a download only console. I have no choice but to download from PSN or get pirated copies and I think $ony are against piracy so this is the stupidest move from them.

If they want to keep my account banned then I will take them to court and I think I will be the first person in the world to be allowed to have pirated games if $ony don't back down and unban my account.

I have nearly 600 items on my download list. prices ranging from $55 to free. (The latest God Of War for PSP was about $55AUD) There is a fair few thousand dollars of stuff there. Thats major theft if they don't let me have access to it.

I WILL be speaking to consumer affairs and a lawyer about this tomorrow. If $ony dont get back to me I will be filing a complaint on Monday.

You could've been smarter and not given stupid comments too.

If you download PS3 and PSP games you need them to be on the same account. You can download a PSP game directly to the PS3 and you need them to be in sync with each other so you can transfer games over.
If you have a different account for the PS3 and PSP then you cant sync games.

If I have a different account for getting online on CFW then I will have to play all my games twice. Stupid idea.

I only play original games online. Nothing illegal about that. Just the CFW I was running is what they didn't like. Still not illegal, its just $ony having a huge cry that they lost control over YOUR PS3.
BTW, they never really had control over the PSP. It was hacked from day one. Firmware 1.00 could run homebrew.
