psp ofw 5.03 chickhen r2 doesnt play all games?

hi

i bought a psp slim n lite,
upgraded to ofw 5.03
run chickhen r2
let it glitch and reboot
check sys settings shows up as 5.03 chickHEN
run cfw enabler (first time i ran it, it installed some files to flash)
check sys settings shows up as 5.03 MHU

need for speed most wanted runs no probs off m2 duo stick in ISO folder

but some other random games like need for speed carbon runs, shows PSP white splash screen then game exits out to a 80010023 something game cannot be loaded error?

i have tried going into cfwenabler 3.70 again and did the following:
i have left lumides umd game in umd drive
adj VSH menu to m33 driver
free umd region enabled and disabled originally
fake region to japan/europe and disabled originally

5.03 is an old CFW for psp 3000 today.

The latest is 6.20 PRO-B5 (Permanent Patch) and 6.35 PRO-B5 (Light Custom Firmware).
I suggest you download PSP Module Checker and check your PSP module if you can use the 6.20 PRO-B5 Permanent Patch or not.

sorry forgot to mention i only bought psp slim from outlet so its still under warranty which is why i didnt want to flash it permantely but prefer to use volatile memory resident chickHEN jailbreak only.

is there a more up to date temp memory resident only hack ? and its a slim n lite model no 2003 behind battery

yes there is if you don't want to update to a higher firmware you can use 5.03 Prometheus v3 with 5.03 HEN KXploit v7 (signed).

5.03 HEN kxploit v7 is a fast recovery enabler so you don't need to run the hen everytime your psp shuts down or resets.
