PSP e1004 6.50 –
Hi guys. Please help me with my psp. its e1004 6.50 and i got it as a gift today! how to jail break it? is this firmwared hackable? and how can i see my motherboard number? im not lazy, i tried and i search but i cannot find many things about 6.50. please help me.. i found files and tutorials in this forum but there is nowhere something about 6.50. thank you!
Im sure you can update to 6.60 and use PRO B10 on it. However as to weather you can install th cIPL patch I dont know and I highly advice against trying til you know for sure or you could brick.
Actually I think Pro can be used on OFW 6.50 as well so you may not need to update. that and I believe you can downgrade to 6.20 and use permanent CFW if you cant use the cIPL patch for later versions of OFW but again dont take my word for it do your homework first. Bricking really sucks. Though you can use PRO B10 without risk of a brick.
hi my friend. thanks for your info..what is better?cfw or ofw+pro b10.. i have no idea about these two things..i have also a ps3 slim and i did it without to brick it.. 6.60(or 6.50) +pro b10 or cIPL is better?which one has better compatibility with games and homebrews? thank you!
sorry my mistake i just saw its not fw..i have to have installed the 6.60 or a previous.. is this way(6.60+prob10) fully compatible with games or the cfw offer better compatibility? thank you!

"unable to determine motherboard type or version by hardware info"
should i go for a patch or not? thank you
ok i was putting my games in games/mygamefolder hehe i put them in /iso and it works now
Well I would search first. there must be a way to determine the model/board type without opening it. the patch can and likely will brick if you just go for it. either way running it every time should be fine though. If it's a PSP 1000 model it should be able to use the cIPL patch but again I'm no one to askas I'm reatively new to the PSP scene and have mine ready and set up just the way I like.
