PSP 3k Upgrade Error

i have a PSP 3000 it came with 6.30 out of the box. i downloaded this homebrew app for it so i can downgrade to 6.20 to have a permanent patch but i have games that i bought from psn. i need to upgrade to 6.31or higher to play it. but when it starts the upgrader i get an arror saying the data is corrupted... but i know its not because i ts from an OFFICIAL PSN game.

so how could i fix it?

and the downgrader i used is Chronoswitch Downgrader v5.
it says i can upgrade back to 6.30 but it won't let me.

Have you tried getting the official update from Sony, not the update from the games.

Also never downgrade past stock firmware, as that could lead to unknown errors such as yours or worse

i will try a sony OFW, what if it dosent work?

Then you can use it as a nice paper weight. What is your current problem again. You have 6.20 on it, does it work fine ?

the system works fine but the games i have from psn required 6.30 or higher.

i have downloaded and tried to install OFW from the playstation website stil got the same error message

Do you have Custom Firmware installed on your machine. If so try uninstalling it and then installing Official Firmware on top of that.
