psp 3001 lcd question

recently my psp 3001 was dropped and the lcd broke, so Ive been searching ebay looking for a replacement, most merchants say

"What you should know before bidding:

1. This is the Old TA093 version LCD, which fits TA093 Mother board version only!
2. There are 2 versions of PSP 3000 LCD, New (TA095 Mother board) version and the Old (TA093 Mother board) version.
3. You need to differ them from the Flex cable on the LCD, also you could check the mother board version of your PSP 3000.
4. So please compare your LCD's flex cable with our pictures before bidding, if it's the same flex cable, then this LCD fits. "

my MB is a TA092 (3001 brite) my question is there any real difference between TA092 and TA093 MBs and do you guys think the lcd will work on my board

If the connectors are the same it should work, bought one online, worked just fine, but it was a difficult job, at least for me.....
