So after the release of the new HEN, i dug out my old 3001, and made up a usb charger cable out of an old car charger.

i used some jap usb and all the colors were different then most usb (green, white, red, black) i pined it out with my volt meeter, but i think i still managed to get it backwards somehow. so i sent the power into the psp backwards, +5 going to neg, and neg going to +5.

my question is this, do you think it just poped the fuse? Would replacing the power board fix it, or do you think the whole motherboard is fried?

Ps. before any newb questions get asked, yes i tryed another battery, i tryed my lil bros girlfriends good power supply, and it will not come on, i know its broke, i just need to know to what extent.

I'm not familiar with the 3000's at all.

but this did happen with my 1000 it wouldn't turn on for nothing, I did some online research and found out it was probably the fuse.

so what I did was bridge the connections to bypass the fuse....started right up.
