psp 2003 pb hack

hi dont attack me but i have never had a psp before and have just bought a second hand one.its a slim and lite 2003pb with 3.71 version firmware.do i just need a pandora and memory stick?

if the motherboard version is Ta88v3 then no Pandora Battery cannot be used .

but you can hack it via ChickHEN R2 and it only works on 5.03 (thats of course if its TA88v3)

TA88v3 boards first appeared with ofw4.01 and you're saying that you have a psp2k with 3.71.
You're lucky mate you have a HACKABLE psp

i am sure its a ta-088v1 mobo can i use a pandora ?

Yes you can, but don't forget the magic memory stick.You can't install cfw without it. There are guides for making a magic memory stick here and there, just google it.

thanks guys i wanted to make sure before i bought a pandors and mms.which is the best firmware to use i am getting greedy now lol

5.00 m33-6 for stability
5.50 gen-d3 for compatibility , you choose

5.50 gen-d is the newest version but it really boils down to what are you going to with it.are you planing to play the newest iso/cso and psx games (5.50 gen-d) or are you in it for plugins and ctf themes (5.00 m33).these are the two BEST options you got.
