psp 1000 on fw 6.0

hi, ive got one of these, was wondering what i can do with this, can i put on an older fw or do i need to use the 6.20 one?

since you have a PSP 1000 you can use any FW you like but me personally i would use 5.00 m33-6 as it is a REAL FULL CFW where as all these newer LCFW's are really more ment for unhackable 2000's, 3000's, and PSPGO's.

the easiest way to get you to 5.00 m33-6 would be upgrading to 6.20 Official FW don't use network update ensted use this file (PSP Downloads | PSP Firmware 6.20 Update) extract it and then place the EBOOT file in to your PSP's memory stick in the PSP\GAME\UPDATE folder if any of thoes folders arn't there just make them

once you have FW version 6.20 running download this (PSP Downloads | 6.20 TN-E (HEN) Fix) extract that and place the TN_HEN folder in to your PSP\GAME folder on your PSP's memory stick and then run the TN HOMEBREW ENABLER from your game menu on your psp once you have that installed Follow this tutorial ([Video Tutorial] Install 5.00 M33-6 or 5.50 GEN D3 WITHOUT pandora - —Hacks Forums) download his CFW pack he has linked and just follow the video and then once 5.00m33-6 is installed follow this guide ([Tutorial] How to setup 5.00 m33-6.Avoid common problems. - —Hacks Forums) once you get to step 6 of that setup guide use this file (m33_620_20101214.rar) ensted of the one he lists its a more updated version of the same file once thats all done you should be good to go any homebrew or game you want to play

Oh forgot there is a few games here and there that don't work with Prometheus 4 and the 6.20 plugin with thoes games you will need to patch them with ISOTOOL other then that your good

I would suggest go use CFW 6.20 PRO-B5 Permanent Patch if you don't have a Pandora Battery and a Magic Memory Stick.

But if you want the latest CFW for your PSP Model i suggest you need to make a Pandora and a Magic Memory Stick just incase you get a brick because your PSP has a fully hackable motherboard.

The latest CFW for your PSP Model is 6.38 ME-X.

If you don't have any Pandora Battery or Magic Memory Stick now, I suggest you use CFW 6.20 PRO-B5 Permanent Patch,too.
A compatible CFW is the better,you don't have to get a latest CFW .
