just got my old psp out not played with it for a while
its got on it 5.50 GEN-D (FULL)
is this the best one any help would be great

And then apply the liquidzigong's "Prometheus-4" patch for GEN-D3 for running games needing 6.35 OFW.

Man....I just broke out mine and my son's two PSP1000 to charge and update for a snowboarding trip this month.....

Both have on it 5.50 Gen-D3....so all i have to do to play new games is run prometheus 4 patch for newer games.....is it stable? Or should i just wait for a CFW?

If you look my signature you will see I have 5.50 GEN-D3 prometheus 4
Of course it's stable. It's not new: December 3
Download the version for 5.50 GEN and install it

Don't wait for a new CFW. When secure to install it without crashes or bricks, you will hear about it
