problem Psp 2004 7c –
A friend of mine in the past saying that a PSP does not work ..
The psp turns on but the screen stays black. It would seem a simple brick.
But when I put the pandora will not start. The screen remains black.
The PSP is a slim version 7C 2004 ..
It may be because the battery?
sorry for bad english ...
Have you tried removing the memory card from the slot, if it power's on and the screen is black, then it could be the faulty memory stick that's acting up, try removing the memory stick before start up and then power the system on then reinsert and do a format of the stick, that may solve your issue.
Pandora's battery will still turn the psp on. If you don't see a green light, the battery could be dead, dead (literally), connection issues, or you have a hardware brick.

If it turns on but the screen goes black, it doesn't mean that he has a hardware brick, however if nothing does happen then yeah a hardware brick would be appropriate. In most cases the faulty memory card could be the issue, I had a similar issue once and I pulled the memory card out and the PSP booted up normally. Then I reinserted it back in,
