    Hello,

My PSP model is PSP-2000, and it's a white color.
When there is no battery inside, and whe I connect the AC charger adapter to the PSP, the lamp turns orange.

When I turn on the PSP, when there is a battery inside, the lamp turns green, but there is no any picture or sound.

Does anyone know what poblem could this be?

    Thanks.

Does the PSP shut off after a while, if you don't touch anything?
If it does, how long does the green light stay on for?

If it stays on indefinately, or shuts off after a while (As in around 3-10s)... your firmware is probably corrupted.

If it shuts off very quickly, then you might have a blown fuse inside the PSP.

BTW: Are you certain that it doesn't emit any sound at all? Sometimes, it's just your LCD's backlight that isn't working for some reason, and graphics can still be seen if you shine a really bright light into the screen.

Answer: No,it doesn't. It stays turned on green as long as I am keeping it on. And nothing happens if I touched the buttons, it keeps turned on.

Well... you could try to re-flash it.

I meant that you could try to use a Pandora battery + Magic Memory Stick to re-program the PSP's NAND chip (The place where the firmware is stored).

You have to seek Sony technical support if that PSP wasn't meant to be flashed without Sony's tools in the first place (E.g. that PSP can't be have a CFW installed)!!!!

sounds like you got a pandora battery.
