play backups without CFW in 6.30 PSP 3004 ?

Hi,

I bought a PSP 3004 that comes with OFW 6.30. Searching some sites It seems there are games signed for 6.31, which I think means I can play them without installing CFW. Is this true?

I know the keys were found so it's logical that that is possible to do. What I'm wondering is if I can do the same for OFW 6.30.

Is there any tool to sign games for 6.30, or to use something like "Iso Loader Prometheus" or something like that?


I'm newbie so I'm still afraid of installing CFW or upgrading to newer firmwares, so that's why I'm asking this

If this is not possible, is it possible for OFW 6.31?

yes there are signed games you can play on your psp's CFW but they are not the newly released games and they are 728MB or below.

i also suggest that you check your psp module if you can downgrade it and use 6.20 PRO-B5 Permanent Patch or just use LCFW (light custome firmware) 6.35 PRO-B5 so that you can play the latest psp games and not just signed games and also some PSX games.

It's a brand new PSP so I'm guessing I can't downgrade because of module. In that case there isn't a permanent way to load backups?

don't update yet dude, check your psp module first before updating. maybe you can use the perma patch of 6.20 PRO-B5 just to be sure. if not use 6.35 PRO-B5 with fast recovery to be able to play ISO/CSO games, homebrews, emulators etc..
