    As the topic says

My use of PSP is only for gaming purposes and sometimes i listen to the music.
Overal what are the advantages of getting 6.60? is it worth the hasle to go from 5.50 gend?
Im using older generation PSP 2000 with older motherboard.

Now another thingie, it might be stupid, my brother has PSP 2000 (but dont know wich generation) with CFW 6.60 Pro-C and i notice the screen is more colorful than my PSP 2000, is it because of firmware? (i dont really believe that tbh could be).

I think it is worth it but opinions vary

and check your psp system settings find color space and turn on wide if you have it

and pro can force wide so maybe incentive

    PSP 3000 9G 6.20 PRO CFW Perm

Well that was to get rid of Gen-D and update to 6.60 easily but up to you if you can find uninstaller for Gen-D then update to OFW 6.60 then go PRO-c then use CIPL_Flasher to make it perm your should be flash able since your on that cfw

Except that a lot of games run well with PRO inferno drivers and a lot of plugins now for it to

No need to patch games and on and on

procfw - X-Generation Aftermarket Firmware for Playstation Portable this has some of the features

    this has plugin page

I recommend updating to 6.60 PRO as well, atm better support than older/5.50gend firmwares, no game patching, frequent plugin updates and the online plugin is pretty cool to have.
