I'm on 5.50 GEN D3 and want to upgrade

Hi guys. As the title says I have CFW 5.50 GEN D3, and want to upgrade. The reason is because I want to use CWCheat and it just does not work; I've searched online everywhere and couldn't find an answer, so basicly I think that upgrading is a simple solution. I want you to tell me a nice and stable CFW but newer, and if possible that you've already tried CWCheats on it and can confirm that it works. I have a PSP model 1000 (a.k.a "PSP Fat").

I had CFW 5.00 m33 before that and CWcheat worked, but I had to patch every new game and that was a pain in the ass....

So, I'd be glad if you can help me. Also, it would be VERY nice if the CFW had an autoinstaller, I mean: I just connect the PSP, install a simple setup file, and it does all the work (maybe continue the instalation on the PSP (like I had to do with the 5.50 GEN D3) ) but not more complex than that).

And also, you can install 6.60 Minimum Edition from Neur0n, very stable, just find 6.60 and the CFW 6.60 ME update. Very simple to install. I recommend make a NAND backup first with NAND Manager.

Why did you update? 5.00m33-6 is the best psp firmware of all time

im having the same problem..i have the easy installer but its giving me the 9.90 error and wont update to ofw...and the version txt changer isnt working...someone please help...those guides at the top dont help at all. My motherboard is TA-082 and i have a fat 1001. plzzz someone help!!!!!!!

This is natural with the 5.50 Version you will need to hook up your PSP and change the version.txt to 5.50 and upgrade.
