i would like to avoid buying used model online.

01-21-2011,03:43 PMim woried that refurbished models are worse quality and i may be extra worried because i have to buy online.
please tell me if there are some siginficant differences. like possibly damaged LCD screens that may get some bad pixels with time, or worn out buttons...
is this what sony is doing officially or they trying to hide this?
