Help with 6.60 OFW Update
Help with 6.60 OFW Update –
01-26-2013,07:12 PM
System
-------------
1001 Phat PSP
Currently on 5.00 M33-6
No Pandora
-------------
Target 5.00 M33-6 --> 6.60OFW --> 6.60 PRO
I got a hold of a PSP. I haven't done this in a long while and am having problems updating to 6.60 OFW. I read the tutorial for the PRO B9 and tried it. It was very simple but I could not install it. PSP Logo loads up, then black screen and then it returns to XMB with (Error 80020148). I tried browsing and the forum and google and none of the solutions really worked. I tried to use Hellcat's Recovery to install 6.20 but that didn't work either. I didn't think it would be this hard to find a solution on the internet but to no avail. (been trying for hours)

You have to update to OFW first of version of PRO you want to install that in your case would be 6.60 OFW then install PRO CFW if you have modified version text you will have to change that first in flash first before you can update to OFW

V10 SCPH-50001 with Network adapter SCPH-10281 500 G HD
PSP 3000 9G 6.20 PRO CFW Perm
Unofficial FMCB v1.8C OPL self compiled HD and SMB preferred
Is how all good gaming systems came to be

I have redownloaded 6 60 from the Sony servers and tried it again but it still spit out the error - I know I have to update to the OFW version first to use PRO which is what I trying to do - My version dot txt says 5 55 - I am not sure what to edit to make it usable to flash to 6.60 - Everytime I click on OFW I get an Error 80020148 - I am on 5 00 M33-6
I am having trouble replying as well with it saying I need 30 posts for hyperlinks to which I am not using.

Yes I have done that already, multiple times. I followed the PRO guide written in the tutorial section and can't quite get past this one part, because after running it. I get that error.
(Run 6.60 Update, PS Logo pops up, Black screen, Return to dash (Error 80020148))

Agarest, did you try to run ofw update.pbp using the m-33 recovery menu's autorun program at /bla/bla/bla/eboot.pbp option? And also your memory stick may be corrupted, is it a genuine or a clone memory stick? Format your memory stick and try, may be that can help (best way would be trying with a new and genuine memory stick).

Alright I got it working perfectly after buying an authentic memory card. The one I have looked legit as hell. Seems to make all the difference. The M33-6 that I got with the PSP worked on the previous Card with older games.
