Probably 6+ years ago I attempted to convert my PSP-1001's battery into a Pandora battery, and broke it. (I was probably 10 or 11 at the time)

Now around 10 minuets ago I found my old PSP laying around in my garage. So I plugged it in, and it still works! Only issue is this PSP is on OFW 4.05 and I can't upgrade it to any newer firmware to be able to hack it.

I read on multiple websites that you can hold L + Triangle and it will update without a battery, but I can't seem to get that to work.

Is there another way to update to OFW without a battery?
