So, I currently have 3, yes THREE, bricked psp 3k's, no access to any-sort-of recovery menu; some of my friends had no idea what they were doing and now I have the results, as paperweights.

To the question: There is no way to unbrick them right(Lots and lots of searching before posting the question, just want to make sure)?
Or is someone working on finding an exploit? I will put em in a closet and wait till an exploit is found to unbrick them anyways, but just asking out of curiosity.

    Thanks in-advance.

    Can't a Pandora battery fix bricked PSP's?
    PS3 - 500GB Int 2TB Ext - CFW 3.55 Kmeaw
    XBOX 360 - LT 2.0 - BANNED - XBOX 360 - ONLINE
    PSP 1000 - Prometheus - PSP 3000 - OFW - PSP Go - Pro 6.60 B9
DS Lite with numerous back up cards - 3DS, waiting for a backup card

    It's all good.

Shit Outta Luck. 3Ks are Pandora's Battery-proof. No way of unbricking those at the moment. Call up Sony, but those can't get fixed.

You'd be better off asking at http://forums.dashhacks.com

That's where I go for my PSP needs. This site is more for PS3, like gbatemp.net is for Nintendo products. All the sites try to be cross system, but in the end they end up being quite specific. Like the "A NOOB's GUIDE TO INSTALLING 6.60 PRO- B9 Custom Firmware on PSP" has been on dashhacks for quite a while now. I've even considered adding it to a wiki.

As for your problem, no idea. The 3K units are a bane for hackers and just recently were hacked. Pandora won't work since that's for a specific set of 2K and 1K models. Try pulling the battery, then booting the unit while holding R. Maybe the boot strap is in place. Also try starting them without a MMC card.

master737373, no guarantee left, and ain't payin' "Sony Service" to trade the mb's, rather I'd buy a 2K and wait till someone find an exploit for 3k so I can fix the 3.

    Kayot:
Been readin' there aswell, seems like theres no way to unbrick them currently then, just gonna throw em in my closet till someone finds an exploit or something to un-brick them with(Why not use somesorta 'flash-board' soldered on the chip that contains the flash and directly write the "uncorrupt&clean" flash-files into the PSP flashchip, for example?).

Tried that with each one, with battery in them, wont even boot, just with ac cord&mc in or out, powers on but powers off in ~10-15 seconds.

How where they bricked? Messing in flash0, installing CFW/OFW, running a shady app, some incompatible plugin, etc.

kirby_422, 2 of them while installing CFW for what I know and the last one, don't know, probably CFW aswell.
E: I'll make a video of trying to power one of them in the morning in all possible ways so ya can see how it behaves, haven't seen a proper video of all types in youtube, just-in-case.
