This just in... ...Final Fantasy Dissidia (import) and DJ Max Fever are checking your memory card for remnents of custom firmware. Basically it checks for ms0://seplugins and ms0://iso. When it finds it, it takes "unexpected action", which according to some sources state,

Dissida : Final Fantasy deletes a few plugins, particularly cwcheat

DJ Max : won’t boot if “.iso” files are found on the memory stick.
Now not all people are getting the same stuff going on, it seems to be hit or miss kind of thing, and this seems to only happen on booting UMD's. But if you are having trouble with these games from the UMD, you need to download "CFW Folder Blocker 1.1", and have it block umd's from accessing either /iso or /seplugins.

Good to know. Thanks! I'm sorta new to the whole PSP thing. I bought a GOW version PSP-2001 for $100 from a co-worker and he had OFW3.80 on it still. I showed him the custom firmware and he is now kicking himself in the ass.

Real solution for this stupid actions of developers could be a user defined folder for isos and plugins setuping in recovery.

As much as we all know... it could be they are scanning the entire memory card for .iso/cso or .prx, so hiding the entire folder from existance seems a smart way of doing things. Or if they aren't now, they could in the future...

That's a pretty ballsy action on Sony's side. The jerks.
