PSP Camera on CF

It has been a year now that I purchased the game Invizimals with the USB Camera for the PSP but I never heard of any advance in the Custom Firmware field regarding that. Since I do not know where to look, many people pointed me here.

My question is simple, was any CFW, Homebrew or ANYTHING at all developed to go past the new PSP Camera security? I know the game itself can be patched and run easily from the Memory Stick, but the camera will not work on anything under OFW 6.00 so I am basically screwed.

I own a PSP 2010 with CFW 5.03 MHU, it is not pandora compatible so I cannot update now and downgrade later, which would be the easiest path.

The only thing I ever managed to do with the new Camera was to use the built in Microphone in Skype, it will work without a problem. But whenever I wish to access video functions it shows black screen and returns me to menu.

So I wonder if the developers of these kind of things do even give a damn about the project, the game was released in 2009 and we are now near the end of 2010. 80% of all the forum topics about this on google are from 2009! did they give up?

i've got Invizimals and the old camera (silver) and it works with this game. i have PSP 1003 with CFW 5.50 Prometheus. I heard that the new camera (black) works only with OFW.
