    I am currently trying to convert CDDA based Sony PS1 games into POPS eboots.

    I have an original PSP-1000 w/5.50-GEN-D3.

    I've tried using psx2psp_v.1.4.2 and PsGUI300beta GUI's along with the original command line popstation.exe, 1.24-Z33 and 1.23-rck to convert my IMG/CCD/SUB format PS1 games and I get no sound.

    Contra, N2O, Street Fighter Collection, Castlevania, etc ...

    The games are in BIN/CUE format, but the CUE file is a bit odd as it doesn't have the exact break points for the audio tracks. Here is an example

    So, I take these BIN/CUE and convert them to IMG using UltraISO, but when I try to convert the IMG to eboot every single popstation/gui will produce an eboot with only the first track.

    If I use Nero to burn the BIN/CUE to a disk image in NRG format I can then convert the NRG using UltraISO to IMG and then the popstations will convert the entire image.

    I then tested this final IMG image burnt onto a disc in an original PS1 and the CDDA audio works just fine and it also works under ePSXe the PS1 emulator for the PC.

    However, no matter what I try I cannot get the audio tracks to play back on the PSP.

    I usually don't seek assistance in such matters, but I'm hit a road block and could use some assistance. If anyone knows how to get some Crystal Method rocking the N2O on my PSP please do PM me.

    If you mount this image (by cue sheet file), all tracks are displayed properly?

    I don't know if something changed but long time ago UltraISO messing LBA.

    I have converted in the past a few games with CDDA tracks and all goes ok. But i don't remember how looks like my *.cue (i have always using *.bin/*.cue images).


    BTW: Special tracks in Castlevania SoTN it's not needed. It's bonus tracks which game never using.

    For quick and easy converting of images to eboot with sound (for CDDA tracks). There are some relatively unknown very good converters developed:

    1 - Copstation by Coldbird (for Windows)
    Latest version: PopStation_CopStation_Mod_v2.21

    It's a command tool converter, usage:
    For Packing : popstation title gamecode compressionlevel inputfile.iso
    For ISO-Extraction : popstation -iso outputfile.iso
    Put files in same location as the image you want to convert.

    2- KPops by Ivanvega (for Linux)
    Latest version: KPops_2.2

    I am trying to make a PSP EBOOT from Rage Racer which uses CDDA audio but I always end up with no in-game music.

    Does anyone know how to resolve this?

    Use the software above and try pops 4.01-3.71 it reads cdda anything above that seems they removed the ability to read it
