Yet another FMCB "HALP!!!!!11" thread –
I have a 79001 PS2 and a memor32 with memento installed. I can launch apps from ULaunch and have installed FMCB. However, I can't seem to get it to recognize that I do have a BOOT.ELF in the INSTALL folder as well as the IRX files in the INSTALL\MODULES folder. (I am doing this all just off the memor32).
Am I completely missing the mark on something or has something gone wrong?
I don't have an extra memory card... Is that the only way? I don't exactly want to shell out another $20 on another memory card...
Memento and FMCB use similar methods, which means that installing one of them removes the other. Doing that without a backup is a bit risky, as you will lose the ability to boot homebrews on the PS2 if something goes wrong. But possibly the Memor32 and Memento stuff supplies tools to repair the installation for such cases ???

FMCB v1.8 will work on just about any MCs, and the Datel Max Memory MCs I've used have worked with all previous versions too (unlike some cheaper clone MCs).

Got it all figured out. I just had to use a memory stick... easy enough
