What exactly do I need to install to be able to put game saves on my Memory Card?

Basically downloading saves from my PC onto my USB Drive and then putting them on my PS2 Memory Card. I hear it's possible to do this with Free McBoot, so which app do I need to install to be able to do that?

Ok thank you. Do the save files need to be in any specific format? Would .xps work?

well in psu format but if you have other format you can use PS2 Save Builder or other tools to convert any format files to psu format and then use uLaunchELF to copy and then psupaste to your Memory
