URGENT HELP PLEASE :Free Mcboot 1.8 not Booting logo and browser After succesfull installation on Mc

Hello guys first i would like to say that i am total noob on everything about forums as this one is the first i ever joined and i find it really easy to navigate and helpfull . Here's my problem:well i borrowed a chipped fat ps2(scph 39004 pal) plz dont ask me for the chip cause i dont have a clue about it)the only thing i know is that is better compatible with cd rather than dvds ( i wasted 4 dvds until i realize it )well i have tried almost all free mcboot methods i could find on the official site although i am always stuck on the same problem free mcboot is not even responding and just the normal sony browser appears (i didnt even get a black screen or free mcboot logo appears at all) and the most strange of all is that when i use an installation method (armax for example or cd installation) and press launch free mcboot and then remove disc i get free mcboot browser with some freaking weird colors pink browser with green letters writing version 1.8 what am i doing wrong i really loved free mcboot browser that i saw from numeral tutorial but i cant make it work as it is not booted if i restart my ps2.i am using my psp as usb device with a fat memory stick(not fat32 or fat16) but i dont think it does matter cause everything runs fine ( except free mcboot after i restart my ps2)


ps i am trying this to work for 3 weeks i just cant understand where is the problem after the install i will use memory card on my scph 50004 ps2 pal .Also i would like to say that i follow every step on tutorials and if anyone can help me plz do it with the action replay max evo edition since i can boot free mcboot with FCEU.ELF just fine although i got the upper problem .i am really desperate and tired those last 3 days trying nonstop to boot free mcboot from mc i reinstall it like 20 times so please help me i used the noobie package

To be more specific i can see the free mcboot logo but only if i press the launch option in free mcboot and then the free mcboot browser with really weird colors . In my next ps2 restart i see only the normal browser not even the logo or free mcboot browser help me please guys you are my last hope .

ps:I will keep open this post in my browser so i can quick reply to your suggestions

It's an old topic but I have the same problem. Could it be the chip? Need help with this.

If you have a chip then you must know which chip you have, so you maybe can disable it at booting....

copy ulaunchelf as RESCUE.ELF to your flashdrive, plug it to your ps2 and try powering it on. maybe it cannot boot the copy from memcard?
