Hey guys new to Ps2 modding not new to modding. As i have my wii, 360, psp, ps1 and nds all moded. But for some odd reason i cant figure out how to put Free MCBoot 1.5 on my memor32. ok here is the step's ive done.

    1. Erased memor32 Re-Formatted in Ps2.
    2. Then Update to Memento Firmware V1.1
    3. Make a Folder called BOOT and put it in too memor32/Ps2Saves/BOOT or something like that.
    4. And then put uLE v4.21 rename to BOOT.efl wich in my case the one i dl already was and put FREE_MCBOOT.ELF as well.
5.Start up the Ps2 Holding R1 then get a message fail to LAUNCHELF.CNF not sure what this mean so i just went on to press o
    6. Then i found the BOOT Folder hit o then saw FREE_MCBOOT.ELF hit o again that went on to load FREE_MCBOOT then i hit x for normal install.
    7. Start And

    Free MCBoot Installer start!
    Preparing OSd For MC done
    Injecting DVDEFL done
    Verifying Blocks done
    Building OSD done
    Checking OSD Validity done
Writing OSD File and i get stuck here nothing happens just hangs cant understand why.

Any Help would be appreciated Thanx in advance

maybe you didn't wait long enough.

did you try booting with memor32 in second slot and install to a different memory card?

Hi, I had the same problem.
I put fmcb 1.5 on my pen drive, so started Ulanuchelf and executed fmcb from the pendrive. The important thing is that you have to FORMAT your memor32 with fmcb, and then install it! That easy, the install is fast.

    God luck

Even better way is to install FMCB temporarily on an normal 8mb sony memory card and reformat Memor32 with MCFORMAT before runnig the FMCB installer.

With this the error rate will be reduced to a minimum and you have a better start for installing FMCB cuz Memor32 is sometimes really stubborn.

    best regards

I couldnt try that because I only have Memor32, but if you have memor32 and another memory card, that´s easyer then.

You could transfer elf files with memor32 save manager! remember?
If you create a folder named BOOT and inside that folder put ESR (renamed as BOOT.ELF) like we used to do with memento fm.
