A few things I have to say.
1. Please don't drag me into this.
2. My tutorials don't cover this, which is why it's here.
3. Site rules are in place stating no flaming.
4. Knock it off.
5. I suggest you two make ammends.
6. Go on your daily routines as if this arguement never happend.
I would normaly not choose to continue this but files21 seems to be missing that doing this essetually replaces the bult in DVD player with ESR causeing ESR disks to be loaded from the Ps2's orginal browser as you would a real Ps2 game. Makeing its a bit closers to the funtion of a real modchip.
I cannot understand why someone would not get why people would want to do that. I personally do not have interest in doing so but I get it.
It has the drawback of makeing it less conventent to play DVD movies in the ps2 but I do not recamend doing so anyway.
Exactly. This way gives full access to the PS2Browser before loading a game, retail or backup, and the original idea by redeyed was created before FMCB1.5 was released which has the osdsys hack, so this method may not be as ideal anymore. However, loading ESR as BOOT.ELF with FMCB normally requires the game disc to be inserted beforehand. This way, ESR launches when the disc is inserted.
Nice tutorial.....Makes ESR almost "modchip" like....![]()

Nice and usefull post, ty
thanx very much,my memory card work finnaly..........![]()
Yes, as described in FreeVast Continues-Thread.
Nice tutorial.
If others will use older FMCB-Loaders, they can also use it in a vary of combinations.
I did this method also a bit time ago with uLE and PS2Browser.elf.
This might work with an external (optional ESR-File [<-- Find a workaround, to start decrypted ELF.])
great job dude ..
