Is there a way to boot uLaunchElf from USB?

so i have swapmagic 3.8. however the prob is that i dont have the case mod
therefore, i cant switch discs to boot uLaunchElf

I installed fmcb using swapmagic 3.8. now when i start playstation, it has "launch free mc boot" but when i press it, it does nothing but restart. what is point of this thing?
i no i launches hombrew and stuff, but does uLaunchElf count as homebrew and can it be loaded using fmcb?

i guess i didnt install fmcb

Read your swap magic disc manual, SM 3.6 and above (3.8) can boot elfs from an usb mass device or from the mc.

but where do i Download HD Loader? its very hard to find

yea i was wondering if there is ps2 version. cause i see alot of ps3 things come up when i search for it. thx

btw with new 1.6 FMCB and new guide, i decided to format the memory card and do it again with new version fmcb following the new guide

so i did everything the guide said. i got ulaunchElf SMS ERS HDloader and changed their name as the guide said. and put them in install folder. DVDplu in inject folder
and to boot it with my swapmagic, i renamed the folder SWAPMAGIC

so on my usb drive it was like SWAPMAGIC>Install> branching folders
SWAPMAGIC contained FREE_MCBOOT.ELF(which was changed to SWAPMAGIC.ELF)

it installed correctly, however when i press O as tutorial says. it says MC Configurator not found?

did i miss something?
