"Swap trick" Smack Down VS Raw 2006 (PS2)
"Swap trick" Smack Down VS Raw 2006 (PS2) –
Hi, i'm new, i have seen your section about the installation of freemcboot, the only way that i have is to make a "Swap trick". Ok, I've got a scph-77004 ps2, I've blocked the three sensors, and i've follow the explanation of this guide: http://bootleg.sksapps.com/tutorials/fmcb/swap.php
I've change the TOC of NTGUI2, and update the file. I've burned the new iso in a DVD+R with Alcohol 120%.
I've Inserted the original disc in my ps2, at the main menu i've swapped the disc with the burned one, and the game works correctly, but when I go into the Online options "Edit/Create Network Configuration" the screen becomes black and appears: "Insert a Play-Station 2 or Play-Station disc".
What did I wrong? Maybe It's the DVD+R? Please Help me.
PS: sorry for my bad english.
If the backup DVD works enough to play the game up to the Online part, then i could only guess you didnt do the TOC correctly.

If yes, then perhaps try a different 'uncompressed BOOT.ELF' from an official uLaunchELF release download. You only need that file from the release package, nothing else in it for this.
If that still didnt work, then maybe use IMGBurn or DVD Decrypter instead of Alcohol 120%.
SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded
Nothing, it doesn't work. I change the TOC of the original NTGUI2, then i update it with the uncompressed Boot.elf (renamed to NTGUI2.elf). I also change the version of Ule and i've used IMGBurn, but it doesn't work.
EDIT: I note one thing: if i insert my bakuped disc in the dvd rom of the pc, i saw that the NTGUI2.elf has the sizes of the original one... but i edited it! I'm sure of this because in the iso the sizes of NTGUI2.elf are the new ones. Maybe when i've swapped the disc, the toc is returned to the original one?

Try it with this re-dump your iso and replace the ELF with this file without changing the TOC, it's just the latest uncompressed uLE release with padded zero's to match the size of NTGUI2.ELF also burn it to a DVD-R or change the booktype of the DVD+R to DVD-R.

Nothing, it doesn't work, i've also use a DVD-R, but when I go to the online menu and then edit/create, i get the same red screen.
beware , the PS2 is case sensitive. should the red part be upper or lowercase? it must be exactly the same as the original or it wont execute...

Or try an older uLE release, I know v4.39 was the last version to work with pcsx2 probably because of the new mc modules added in v4.39y beta.

When did that happen ? (PCSX2 0.9.6 ???, some beta ???)

(not just software modules, but processor features) But this was at a time when the dominant stable release of PCSX2 was still v0.9.4
Are you saying that this has now changed, so that PCSX2 now has those EE timer functions, and is thus able to run fairly modern uLE versions ?
And was this just hearsay, or something you have tested yourself ?
Unfortunately I have been unable to run the latest versions of PCSX2 on either of my computers without constant crashing, so I have not been able to try uLE in those.
Best regards: dlanor
after read this, its will not work un-modded PS2
Also you forget to mention about blocking the sensors in PS2 DVD Drive to make to work.
Any Demo Disc and Game Compilation Disc also should work.
he just full of himself as always

Tested with pcsx2-beta-1474 I haven't updated since then so I don't know what the latest build is.
With uLE v4.39y onwards you just get a black screen as if it's crashed.
