I'm trying to boot uLaunchELF v.4.42b using the Disk Swap Trick with a PAL FIFA 08. I just bought it today for just €0,50. I am using a PAL SCPH-70004 Slim PS2. My sensors are correctly modded. I created the ISO using DVDecrypter, then edited it with Apache v1.1 (yes, I did set the right size and I changed the right file), and finally burned it on a TDK DVD+R.
So I put the original game in my PS2 and turned it on. I went straight to the main menu and I created a profile. Then I swapped the disk, and tried to play a match to see if it worked: the game played just fine. So I opened online mode, and... the screen which says to insert an original game came out.
So I tried several other times, always with the same results. Then I decided to swap the disk AFTER i clicked on the online mode and the menu was loaded. Then i clicked to profile settings (like people who reported this game to work did) and... again, the screen which says to insert an original game came out.
So my theory is that there are some extra security checks every time a new .elf is loaded.
Now my question is:
Has anyone with a SCPH-70004 ever been able to boot the uLaunhELF with any game? If you think it could be a good thing I'll search for a copy of 007 Agent Under Fire.
Thanks in advance for your help and sorry for my bad english.
