SP1 games on SP2 console with FMCB
SP1 games on SP2 console with FMCB –

Hi, I installed Free McBoot on my MC and it works fine and so far tried on two games.
I hope there will be someone with more experience on these things so there is my few questions:
1. If there is a way how to play PS1 games on PS2 with FMCB? I tried to patch it with ESR but there was error about UDF so I extracted iso file and make a nw one in PS2 dvd format and ESR patch completed fine but my PS2 still freed on pink color.
2. I tried FMCB with mortal combat backup and loadings now are much longer. DVD disc is from Verbatim so it shouldn't be an cheap cd issue.
3. If I will figure out how to play games via USB then those loadings should be faster?
Thanks in advance!

The ESR is just to play PS2 games, not play PS1 games.
if you want to run ps1 games, have two alternative:
with Psxlauncher - (using swap)
with Ps2psxe - run games by USB or network http://psx-scene.com/forums/f164/ps2...preview-64878/

not, as the USB is 1.1 ps2, games tend to be slower (but only in the videos)
in the case of PS2 games, but the network is much better.

Do you have a slim or fat PS2? If slim, just block the sensors, go to the real PS2 browser, and do the swap trick with a real PS1 disc by swapping the real game with any burned PS1 game when the Playstation logo comes on the screen. If fat, make a swap tool with an old credit card or any sturdy card in that same shape (you can look up how to make this with google) and swap games at the same time as the slim PS2.
