I lost internet access for several months, and in the process I've forgotten a fair bit of FMCB stuff... Sorry in advance.
I got a brand new PS2 roughly a month ago, and my multi-installed FMCB1.6 memory card is not being recognized properly. This PS2 revision(SCPH-90000) came out in the US only late last year, and I'm not certain if 1.6 supports the US release. Any way to salvage that, or am I going to have to remove/uninstall all of the FMBC/homebrew stuff and install 1.8b?

looks like your ps2 is not compatible with fmcb.
on the new models, you will have 1 of 2 different BIOS.
i think the versions are v2.20 and v2.30
v2.20 will work with fmcb
v2.30 will not work- sony has changed the dvd upgrade feature of the bios, so fmcb will not run
hope that clears it up for you.
maybe in the future there will be an update for v2.30, but i doubt it

Dammit to hell! I had no idea about this, otherwise I would have looked around for a slightly older one. ****!
Thanks for the help, people.
