I think your problem is that you don´t have the sensor-mod.
If it so the PS2 becomes the command to reinitialize the CD when you open the lid and so it comes the error.....

You may to make the sensor-mod, otherwise it don´t work.

And on the 7000xx you don´t need the psx-launcher i think.
It sufficient to boot with a orig PSX-CD to uLE and after swap to press at "PS2Browser" or "PS2Disc" in "MISC:" on MC

The whole idea is so I don't have to do any modifications to sensors as in tape them down etc. If this way works w/o me having to mess with the sensors thats fine, If someone could link me to how it works since the stuff I have seen on youtube I have followed but it doesn't to work the same way for myself.
